The Investment Analysts Association (Thailand) will host the third webinar in the series providing an introduction of Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) in Thailand presented by Mr. Kasidit Tansanguan, Deputy Director of Corporate Strategy, Bank of Thailand.

The Securities Analysts Association of Japan (SAAJ) will host the second webinar in the series. Cambodia launched a central bank digital currency (CBDC) “Bakong” in 2020 using the blockchain technology provided by the Japanese Fintech company Soramitsu Co., Ltd. Mr. Kazumasa Miyazawa, CEO of Soramitsu, will talk about the experience of Cambodia’s CBDC and the situation in Japan.
